latte equivalent

I'm a latter drinker. I've been so used to drinking my coffee really milky and mild that when I first arrived in Spain it was a little of a shock. I asked for coffe with milk 'cafe con leche' and despite my requests for a tiny bit of coffee with a lot of milk I was served very strong and bitter coffee with hardly any milk. Finally, friend of mine suggest ordering 'leche manchada' and it that wa sit. However, this only works if you live in the south of Spain or so I was told. Anyway, good luck to all coffe drinkers, used to your flavoured lattes and mochas. You're not going to find that here.
