What to Think. What to Desire. What to Do 2
What To Desire is the second exhibition in the series What To Think, What To Desire, What To Do. This series explore the role of art in the context of the present economic, social and moral crisis. The essence of art is reflected in the series intending to question its utility and its natural impact on human's emotions—how art impacts us, how it changes us.
This particular exhibition is based on desires as engines to move our wills and create fantasies. It also revolves around the question whether desire is a reflection of freedom of thinking or, on the contrary, it is inevitably linked with established and artificial indoctrination.
Art works from Anish Kapoor, Liu Jianhua and Miquel Barceló, among others, can be seen until April 28th at CaixaForum Barcelona.
