Javier Vilató: ´Au crépitement du feu´
Curated by the artist's own son Xavier Vilató, this multi-venue exhibition is a tribute to the most important creative years of Picasso's nephew Javier Vitaló.
It begins with his years in Barcelona and then moves on to his new life in Paris from 1946 on. The work of the artist is characterised by his love for the Mediterranean, women, children and animals.
The exhibition is divided by themes and location: the 'People' exhibition takes place in Museu Picasso; the 'Bronze' work is shown at Museu Frederic Marès; 'Animals' in Fundació Vila Casas; 'Things' in Sala Dalmau; and 'In Paper' in Galeria Joan Gaspar.
