Hunter Tremayne’s play Vermilion Wine was first produced in New York in 2006, and is now being shown in Barcelona for the first time by theatre company TTC.
Protagonist Ian Sinclair is a PI in Forties’ NYC and the action picks up six years after he is attacked in a fit of murderous frenzy by his lover, Rebecca. She has just escaped from the asylum, while Sinclair is on the hunt for the missing husband of a wealthy heiress. It is a world where mystery lies around every scene change.
The play is being shown on Frday 29th June (9pm), Sunday 1st July (7pm), Friday 6th July (9pm) and Saturday 7th July (9pm). Tickets cost €10 in advance from www.atrapalo.com and €12 on the door.
