In-Edit is now in its 13th year of transforming Barcelona into the world music documentary capital. This years programme is, yet again, a collection of some of the best music documentaries on offer. Screening will take place in Eixample cinemas Aribau 1, 2 and multisalas. This year is set to be an even bigger treat with the introduction of HALF sessions on Sunday. HALF consisits of free matinee sessions that include a documentary screening, music performances, aperitifs, DJs, and a record, book and film fair. Additionally, this year sees the debut of the Ray-Ban Never Hide session which will include documentaries on The Backstreet Boys and James Brown.
The programme contains everything, including political, thought-provoking documentaries such as They Will Have to Kill Us First, which focuses on the plight of musicians in Mali as they try to keep their traditional music alive.
