Van Morrison comes to Barcelona for a pre-Christmas treat for his fans, as he performs at the city's famous Liceu opera house. Appearing as part of the programme of this year's Festival Mil·lenni, it will be the first time the 'Belfast Lion' (as he's known here) has played in Barcelona for eight years.
He will be here to promote his 2012 album, Born to Sing: No Plan B (amazingly, this is his 34th studio album) and, in the grand surrounds of the Liceu, Morrison's reputation for putting on a top live show is sure to be enhanced.
Supporting him will be his daughter, Shana Morrison, performing her own compositions with her dad's band; she will also sing alongside him during the main event. This is the first time that Shana will perform in Spain, although she has sung alongside her father for almost 20 years in his US concerts.
Tickets can be bought through the Festival website here.
