Get your children in the Christmas spirit with some traditional Catalan festive entertainment. The story of the pastorets, or shepherds, is a long-time favourite of local children; it tells the tale of two shepherds who are visited by the Angel Gabriel telling them about the birth of Jesus and their adventures on the way to pay homage to the new-born. The story features popular characters of the season including the caga tió (literally, defecating log) as well as traditional songs.
Recommended for three to 10 year olds. Lasts 55 minutes. In Catalan
Runs: December 12th - 13th, 19th - 23rd, 27th - 30th; January 2nd and 3rd.
Monday to Saturday at 6pm (except 23rd, when performance will be at 12pm); Sundays at 12pm and 5pm
