Formed in Birmingham, England in 1978, the founding members of UB40—Alastair Campbell (who no longer plays with the band), Robin Campbell, James Brown, Earl Falconer, Norman Hassan, Brian Travers, Michael Virtue and Astro—have been friends since childhood.
Although they have their critics, UB40 also have their fans and have sold millions of albums, with their popularity reaching its high point in the Eighties. Their most recent album, Labour Of Love IV, was released in February 2010 but at this concert you will doubtless hear some of their early hits such as 'Red Red Wine' and 'Rat in mi Kitchen'.
