Tinariwen have had a rocky ride to the top when they won the Award for Best World Music Album in 2011.
The band formed in 1979 in Libyan refugee camps as the group members came together for their love of music. Inspired by British and American artists such as Elvis Presley, Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix, the Saharan band adapted the Western style and infused it with their African influences.
They have since received worldwide acclaim and The Irish Times described them as "the most rock'n'roll of them all."
Tickets cost €25 and can be purchased here.
