Yoichi Tanabe has his second solo show in Barcelona with a series of landscape works in which he continues to test himself and push the boundaries on his creative possibilities.
Using both rural and urban images, Tanabe reflects on the passing of time through themes of places of transit and the nature and presence of the human figure. In these latest works, he has adapted new techniques, including taking a greater distance from the subject and using fewer small details as ways to explore his artistic skills.
