Those Dancing Days
The debut disc of Those Dancing Days, In Our Space Hero Suits, is fondly remembered for 'Hitten', 'Run Run' and 'Home Sweet Home', but the problem with a successful start is that expectations for the second album rise dramatically.
Judging by the reviews, however, it would seem that added pressure equals an enhanced sound for Those Dancing Days. The all-girl quintet has undergone something of a transformation with their second album, Daydreams and Nightmares.
Produced by Robyn collaborator Patrik Berger, this new disc displays swearing, big guitar rifts, pounding drums and a frenetic, blood-pumping-through-the-veins energy that was lacking from their debut. Hitting all the right notes, the record has produced a captivating indie buzz that has led to tours to all corners of the world including, lucky for us, Barcelona.
