the sound of orange
A stagework about colour and its perception, The Sound of Orange is based on the true story of Neil Harbisson, who, in a world first, was fitted with a cibernetic eye in 2004, becoming the world's only recognised cyborg in the process.
Harbisson was born with achromatopsia—the inability to perceive colour. However, the revolutionary electronic eye allows him to perceive colours through musical notes.
Created by Harbisson and choreographer Moon Ribas, this play explores the complex relationship between humans and colour, transporting the audience to a world in which colours and sound move.
