The Rainbow is Gone
Miguel Leal, originally from Seville, has been living in Barcelona since 2006 and his work has been part of the permanent collection at the Artevistas gallery since 2011.
In this new exhibition, 'The Rainbow is Gone', Leal employs several mediums; collage, spray painting, acrylic, pastels and wax pens yet also uses large amounts of white to demonstrate ways of expressing emotion. Through his work he has simplified raw feeling. Although verging on the grotesque, there is something quite beautiful about Leal's work where the rainbow is a metaphor for wholeness.
Entrance is free and the opening will take place on September 12th at 8pm. For more information click here.
