The Pains of Being Young at Heart
The young New Yorkers achieved mass acceptance after the release of their first album in February 2009. Their sound's been described by some as overly emotional but the quintet hope to give their second LP Belong a more mature make over by enlisting the help of producers Flood and Alan Moulder of Smashing Pumpkins and Depeche Mode fame.
Tracks like 'My Terrible Friend' certainly reveal the work of old hands and 'Belong' with it's massive guitar riff and booming drums is a perfect example of how well the band's partnership with their new production team has worked. However obvious songs such as 'Heartbreak In Your Heart' and 'Heaven's Gonna Happen Now' may result in more mixed opinions.
