Written in the mid-19th century, the love story of Giselle became popular in Europe following its debut in Paris in 1841, and continues to please contemporary audiences today. The tale intertwines jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness, following the protagonist, Giselle, who dies from a broken a heart and attempts to save her ex-lover from a group of supernatural women who seek out vengeance through dancing men to death. This classic is delivered by the talented Moscow Ballet, who exude emotion and passion in their refined techniques and dedication, bringing an unmissable adaptation to Barcelona’s ballet scene.
