The clicking of a typewriter as a husband lets his memory run wild alongside the somber sounds of a cello played by his wife. As the curtain rises, this Spanish-language theatre performance tells the story of a couple, André and Dorine, who have been neglected by their loved ones and left to face their elderly years in solitude. When an illness strikes one of them, their life as a pair begins to crumble and they are forced to try to remember what they once had in an attempt to reconstruct their relationship and rekindle their love for one another. A heartwarming but saddening tale that encourages the audience to reconsider treatment of the elderly in society and how we deal with mental and physical illnesses. This production is recommended by the Pasqual Maragall Foundation and the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Barcelona.
