After a brief interlude due to the financial crisis, Barcelona's International Contemporary Art Fair returns this year with a strong line-up of both local and global talent, and a new location in the Italian Pavillion on Montjuïc. Founded in 2006, the aim of SWAB is to present young and emerging contemporary artists from all parts of the world, giving them a chance of exposure to their peers, critics and the public that they might not otherwise get. Local galleries sponsoring artists at this event include N2, Mito and Iguapop, while there are also representatives from Paris, London, Berlin, New York and Buenos Aires, a total of 32 exhibitors.
