The deeply visceral experience that is Barcelona's Museu de la Mediterrània (the museum takes great lengths to entertain its visitors with the sounds, sights and smells of the Mediterranean) is to be supplemented with two evening concerts this week.
Wednesday 1st August sees Spanish jazz outfit, Gumbo Jazz Band, take to the stage. Expect traditional New Orleans-style jazz as they claim to respect and stay faithful to the classic sounds of old.
The following day (2nd August), Málaga-born Paula Domínguez is set to perform. A well-established singer here in Barcelona, Domínguez has dabbled in both jazz and R&B, so be sure to expect something funky and fresh.
Admission is free.
