Over three days, Fabra i Coats will host lectures, project presentations, exhibitions, debates, round tables, film showings and children’s workshops, all linked by the common denominator of the solidarity economy.
The themes at the fair will include: housing, clothing, food and drink, education and culture, communication, health, and economics.
Once more this year, by staging this fair, the organisers, XES (the Solidarity Economy Network) seek to enable the general public to learn about experiences and practices in the solidarity economy that are taking place in Catalunya.
Amongst the new developments at this year’s edition is the presence of Greece as guest country and the celebration of Solidarity Economy Night. During the event, whose goal is to promote inter-cooperation amongst participating companies and organisations, payment can be made in “ecosols”, the official currency at the fair.
