3,000 opinions and 9,000 images collected over the last two editions of the 48H Open House Architecture Festival inspire this exhibition on display at Sala Ciutat.
I Like Barcelona: People, Architecture and Urban Planning is an interactive exhibition where citizens describe their relationship with Barcelona’s architecture and urban planning through their photos, contributions and votes. Visitors are invited to vote for their favourite photograph and opinion, as well as leaving a record of their own thoughts regarding the field of urban planning and architecture.
The exhibition also has a mini guide to the key architects, buildings and urban planning projects that have played an important role in shaping the structure of the city today.
During the 48H Open House weekend, the public have the opportunity to visit more than 150 of the city’s finest buildings, many of which are rarely open to the public. The event attracts more than 50,000 people each year.
Free admission. Opening hours: Tues-Sat 11am-8pm, Sun 10am-2pm.
