American rock band The Afghan Whigs are returning to Barcelona to present their latest album, Do To The Beast—their first in 16 years. Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, the band were originally active between the 1986 and 2001, and signed for the famous Seattle-based record label, Sub Pop, in 1988, around the same time as Nirvana. Their biggest hits include Gentlemen and 1965.
Comprising lead singer Greg Dulli, guitarist Rick McCollum, bassist John Curley, and more, the group reformed in 2011 and last performed in Barcelona at Primavera Sound in 2012.
