In commemoration of what would have been Freddie Mercury’s 70th birthday, the Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona and Sala Apolo come together to host the fourth annual tribute concert and raise money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. The concert will be held at Sala Apolo, whilst staff members at the Hard Rock will also be sporting iconic Freddie moustaches alongside other fundraising activities, collaboratively aiming to raise €12,000 in the fight against AIDS and HIV, the illness that led to the death of the legendary Queen singer 25 years ago.
The performance will be given by Momo Cortés, who starred in the Spanish adaptation of the musical ‘We Will Rock You’, and his group, celebrating the classics of the British rock band. The event will also include a raffle to win a guitar signed by Queen’s lead guitarist Brian May.
Tickets for the concert are available from €13 plus a booking fee. More information here.
