Reggae masters Africa Unite were formed in Turin in 1981, following the death of reggae legend Bob Marley, whose passing inspired the founder members to act on their musical talents (and name their band in tribute to him). They have since established themselves as one of the most successful reggae groups ever to emerge from Italy.
The band have released 13 albums since their debut in 1987, most recently 2010's Rootz.
Now the band are bringing their reggae vibes to Spanish shores, playing Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid on a whistle-stop tour of the country. On the road to promote the aforementioned Rootz, the band will be playing tracks from the album, and no doubt a handful of oldies from the back catalogue. This easy-going gig is guaranteed to get you in the summer mood.
