In 1995, French musician St Germain burst onto the scene with his debut album Boulevard, selling over one million copies worldwide. 20 years later, his music continues to bring the sounds of sensual and intelligent deep house to listeners across the world. A love for the blues shows through in the incorporation of elements of jazz into his largely electronic-focused music. Recorded with the participation of African musicians, his new record, St Germain (2015), features traditional Malian instruments such as the kora, the balafon and the n'goni, alongside electric guitars, saxophones and electronic loops. Catch his unique blend of electro and jazz at Razzmatazz.
