Roots and Wings
More than just football rivals, Brazil and Argentina are two powerful musical countries that, when united, are almost unstoppable. So when Barcelona residents, Argentinian tango singer Sandra Rehder and Brazilian guitarist Euclydes Mattos unite, it is an event not to be missed.
As part of the the Palau de la Música's 'Palau 30' concerts—a series of daily micro-performances—Rehder and Mattos will be performing famous works by the likes of Vinicius de Moraes, Astor Piazzolla and Fátima Guedes.
The idea of Roots and Wings (Raíces y Alas) is to explore people from different backgrounds working together, enriching their traditions and taking them on a journey that takes flight right from the very start.
Tickets are €7 online or €10 if bought on the day. To buy tickets and check performance times over the two days, click here.
