Pere Noguera is known for his ground-breaking work with deconstruction and fragmentation.
Archives, bought at Encants Flea Market and other second-hand shops combine with his work from the Sixties to show his progress from using photography purely as a craft to becoming slowly aware of the influence of advertising and other mediums of image.
The exhibition includes photographs, postcards and film and have never before been seen together. Taking as its starting point, the found photo archive, it shows a unique view of Barcelona society in the Fifties and Sixties under the rule of Franco. Moving into the Seventies and Eighties it shows his shift into a more experimental phase with photocopies and four-colour printing.
