The renowned Irish rock band formed in Limerick in 1989, consisting of the Hogan brothers, Noel and Mike, on guitar and bass respectively, Fergal Lawler on drums and the infamous lead singer Dolores O’Riordan. They rose to international fame with their debut album Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? (1993), followed by their legendary second album, No Need To Argue, in 1994, and went on to be one of the most successful rock groups of the Nineties, selling over 40 million albums worldwide.
The group made a comeback in 2010, touring North America, Latin America and Europe, and released their sixth album, Roses, in 2012. They last visited Barcelona to present Roses at Sant Jordi Club, and return this week to open this year’s Festival de Pedralbes.
