Paul Tonkinson, winner of the Time Out New Act of the Year award when he debuted on the scene in 1992, puts on an energetic show of observational comedy that focuses on life in the north of England, which is also the location for his other passion, Manchester United; he regularly appears as a guest on football chat and tribute programmes. He won the main Time Out comedy award in 1997 and has since added numerous tv and live show credits to his achievements.
