Nestled in the gardens of an old factory in Poblenou, Palo Alto is one of Barcelona's most sophisticated street markets, taking place on the first weekend of each month. This October, the market returns with the beats and rhythms of post-pop, delivering a program inspired by the energetic, pop culture of the Eighties. The lineup of live music includes an array of artists from the internationally acclaimed, Barcelona-based music label, Canada Editorial, including Barcelona quartet, Extraperlo, Argentinian dance-pop duo, Los Coming Soon, and young Barcelona folk-electronic singer, PAVVLA, who pay tribute to the music of the decade. As usual, the market also boasts a selection of food trucks and delicacies to help keep you fuelled throughout the day.
The event takes places on Saturday and Sunday, with an entrance fee of €4. More information here.
