The National Philharmonic of Ukraine started its concert seasons in 1863, when the Kiev branch of the Imperial Russian Musical Society was founded and rebranded as the Philharmonic Orchestra in 1933. Following their successful tour of Europe, the orchestra, soloists and choir return to Palau de la Música on March 28th, (Bank Holiday Monday), with a rendition of famous opera works.
