José Antonio Velasco Ruiz, better known as Maki, is a Spanish singer-songwriter who signed with Warner Music Spain in 2006. He has since released six successful albums and become popular for singles ‘Calé tuneá’ and ‘Mi Tigresa’. He also discovered and married flamenco and copla singer María Artés, who he collaborated with on several albums until she released her own in 2013. Demarco Flamenco is also a flamenco-pop singer from Sevilla, who shot to fame via YouTube, accumulating 51 million views so far. He accompanied Maki on several concerts before being signed to produce his debut album, Uno (2017).
