The sixth edition of the Mostra de Cinema Àrab i Mediterrani de Catalunya presents a selection of eight Arab films, some of which are works of fiction, while the others are documentaries. The films come from Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Algeria and Tunisia.
The Tunisian filmmaker, Sonia Chamkhi, will be in charge of the inauguration of the Mostra with her documentary film, Militantes, a film about the pioneering women who have ventured into the political realm of post-revolutionary Tunisia.
The other films that will be shown are:

Al Leil Al Taweel by Hatem Ali
Vivre ici by Mohamed Zram
Leaving Baghdad by Kotaiba Al-Janabi
Dimma Brando by Ridha Behi
All the films are shown in the original version with subtitles in Catalan.
