Money & Trash is a small show of objects and drawings by William Truini that ironically addresses the question of value.
On display are original drawings, some of which represent banknotes of outrageous denominations, some for microscopic sums, others for astronomical ones (there is one of $150,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, enough to purchase 10 or 20 solar systems, or perhaps just a nail clipper, depending on circumstances). Along with these drawings, there are also objects made with found or thrown-out material. One of these, 'Icarus', combines an old birdcage with wings made out of $50 bills.
The venue is an excellent vegetarian restaurant in Poblenou, Aguaribay, with a delicious daily menú and a very friendly atmosphere.
