On February 18th, the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya is hosting an evening dedicated to the Catalan artist Carles Casagemas. Friend of Picasso and Nonell, Casagemas was a talented and unique artist who died in 1901 at the age of 20. From 6pm until 8pm there will be free admission to the exhibition 'Carles Casagemas. The artist under the myth', which is currently showing at the museum. From 8pm until 10pm there will be a screening of Aki Kaurismaki's film La Vie de Bohème (1992). There will also be an introduction by professor and film critic Quim Casas.
