Miguel Leal is a new-generational artist. With about 50 works in acrylics, charcoals, pencil and marker, this exhibition is characterised by the emphasis Leal has put on his own personal evolution as an artist, focusing on the creative process and new techniques and formats to his artworks. Leal loses control, carried away by expressive freedom in a theraputic process of creation. He uses fabric, paper and stray lines that distort bodies.
In Leal's inaugural solo art exhibition, he has decided to expose disagreements (desencuentros) from a process of personal discovery, which reveals the positivism of personal growth, rather than the uncovering of frustrations. Paradoxically, his work reveals to us the value of agreements.
