Michael Andreas Haeringer
Michael Andreas Haeringer may not have come from musical parents, but his talent has certainly rubbed off from his ancestors, the great pianists Franz Liszt and Sofia Menter.
The eight year-old musical genius has German origins, but was born in Barcelona. He has gone on to win international and national awards in classical music competitions and has been hailed as the modern day Mozart.
At the Conservatori de Liceu he plans to play advanced pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart and Mendelssohn. He will be playing in celebration of the ten year anniversary of the 'Fundación Pequeño Deseo' which grants children with chronic diseases their wishes.
