Due to finish this year, Cuqui Jerez started The Dream Project back in 2013. It is a long-term performing initiative designed to explore the process of work and production, and Jerez has produced a collection of fifteen short pieces on different topics, with three performances taking place from March 18th-20th at Mercat de les Flors.
On March 18th, Jerez will perform Unos Pasodobles, a series of actions written for the paso doble. The spectators are lulled into a state of contemplation, where suspense and excitement come into play. March 19th will see a performance of El Fenómeno de las Fuerzas Ficticias (‘The Phenomena of Fictitious Forces’), while BLOB—a performance exploring the concept of de-identification—takes places on March 20th. Jerez’s art installation, Espacios Para Visitar con Lupa (‘Spaces to Visit with a Magnifying Glass’), is running on all three evenings.
Tickets are available from €24. Times vary according to each individual performance. More information here.
