September 11, 2001 is a day everyone remembers. Each person had their own individual reaction to the attacks, whether they were blocks away from the twin towers or thousands of miles away watching it on the news. Our different levels of closeness to the pain and suffering that was inflicted that day make the issue complex and tough to swallow even 10 years later.
Memoria Fragmentada is a way for us to see through photographs by Francesc Torres the destruction of the area surrounding Ground Zero, tangible evidence of the devastation that changed the course of history.
