Odd by name, odd by nature. Founder of the artistic Kitsch Movement, which is often seen more as a philosophical movement, Odd Nerdrum is the Norwegian figurative painter whose masterpieces range from still life scenes of the ordinary to emotive, apocalyptic displays. As an extension of his philosophical theory, this exhibition demonstrates art which lies both within and without reality.
At 1pm there will be a presentation of the 2015-2016 season at MEAM as well as a presentation on this new exhibition, presented by Odd Nerdrum himself. At 7.30pm there will be the official opening of the exhibition.
Tickets can be bought here although reduced priced tickets (for students, disabled people, retired people or groups larger than five) must be bought directly from the Box Office. More information here.
