To say that Mark Ronson is one of the greats of contemporary music is not an exaggeration. Since his early DJ sets as a teenager in NYC, Ronson has hit the big-time the world over and achieved enormous success with his second album, Version, which featured his reinterpretation of some classic hits, and vocals from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Robbie Williams and Kasabian.
The distinguished English DJ, musician and producer, is also the man behind some of the biggest albums of recent years, including 'Back to Black' by Amy Winehouse, 'Alright, Still' by Lily Allen, and he has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, from Christina Aguilera and Adele, to the Kaiser Chiefs and Duran Duran. More recently, his third album, The Record Collection, offers yet another vibe with strong hip-hop, electronic 80s, classic soul and R'n'B influences.
