In the biggest retrospective of work by John Cage since his death in 1992, the MACBA sets out to explore the unmatchable contributions made by the experimental US artist to art, music and dance in the last century. The show sets his innovative compositions, where he sought to break down traditional forms of making music, to art work to highlight the unifying characteristic of sound.
