Today's the day when children find out whether they've been good enough throughout the year to deserve their presents, with the arrival of the Three Wise Men (or the Three Kings, or Els Reis Mags in Catalan). The presents are left during the night of January 5th, but before this, there is a grand parade through the centre of Barcelona: starting at the Moll de la Fusta in the city's port at 4.30pm, the Kings are accompanied through the main streets by various floats that will throw sweets to all those watching them go by. The procession will go along: Avinguda del Marquès de l’Argentera, Via Laietana, Plaça d’Urquinaona, Plaça de Catalunya, Plaça de la Universitat, ronda de Sant Antoni, Sepúlveda, Vilamarí, Lleida, Avinguda de Rius i Taulet.
In addition, many of Barcelona's neighbourhoods will hold their own parades on the evening of January 5th—click here for details of where and when
