Kina Grannis, winner of the Best Web-Born Artist 2011 award at last year's MTV O Music prize-giving. That kind of says it all about this young US singer whose career has gone through the roof thanks to YouTube and the like.
Millions of visits online since she set herself up on YouTube in 2007 (and a video shown on the Superbowl a few months later didn't hurt, either) have helped her debut album Stairwells, self-produced by the singer about two years ago, become a hit on various charts. She has toured extensively in her home country and now comes to Europe for her first tour here, with just two dates in Spain.
