In 2001, Joaquín Sabina suffered from a stroke. Although he recovered from the scare, he entered a deep depression and took a four year time out from his 20+ year musical career.

In 2005, he re-emerged with a new album and has been performing and releasing new material ever since. Now, 32 years since he first entered the Spanish music world, he remains a legendary performer who was once tipped by Beatle George Harrison when he was playing music in a bar. When a Beatle is applauding your musicianship, you know it must be something extraordinary.

Sabina is touring this year following his latest release, Vinagre y rosas. Though he shows no sign of slowing down just yet, there's no reason to miss this opportunity as he touches down at Palau Sant Jordi. Several sections have already sold out, so it's wise to snap up those tickets soon.
