Joan Rom began his career using paint before moving on to sculpture created with the use of materials such as bones, pieces of glass, rubber or wool which he considered more subtle materials. His work is influenced by the Arte Povera movement as well as conceptual and minimal art.
The exhibition shows 40 pieces of Rom's work through a variety of mediums including sculptures, installations, drawings and photographs through a period later on in his artistic career.
