Instantes Robados a la Mirada means both ¨moments stolen from a glance,¨ and ¨moments stolen at a glance.¨ This is a haphazard, seemingly random collection assembled with photographer Juan José Fernandez playing the role of memoirist, autobiographer, and memory-thief. The spectator becomes a detective whilst uncovering the bizarre eye through which the images were seen (or rather stolen.) In understanding the original act of voyeurism, the tables are turned and the spectator becomes the thief. A complex exhibit sure to amuse and delight.
