Barcelona welcomes the return of internationally renowned pop-opera group Il Divo this April.
The Italian-sounding boy band is actually made up of four different nationalities: French pop singer Sébastien Izambard, Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, American tenor David Miller, and Swiss tenor Urs Bühler. Having sold over 26 million albums worldwide, Il Divo are one of the most recognisable music acts on the planet, managed by music tycoon Simon Cowell.
Il Divo was named the Most Multinational UK No.1 Album Group in the Guiness World Book of Records in 2006 and they collaborated with Toni Braxton to perform the official 2006 World Cup Fifa Song 'The Time of Our Lives', at the opening and closing ceremonies. At the Classical Brit Awards in May 2011, Il Divo received the award for 'Artist of the Decade'.
After their successful appearance at the Palau de Sant Jordi in April 2009, the quartet return this time around to perform their latest album, Wicked Game.
