Video painting #2, 1996. Installation, DVD, Projection
The Fundación Francisco Godia's latest exhibition examines the juxtaposition of reality with the appearance of images. A collection of Cal Cego (Video, Photography and Installations) presents the interaction between the different worlds.
The project relates reality to icebergs - ie. what we see is only part of what exists. To understand the full extent of what there is, we have to dive deeper.
The exhibition offers a journey through a world of appearances that invite visitors to reflect on the images as a partial and selective state of reality as well as to question our present state of mind.
Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm, Sunday, 10am to 3pm. The gallery is closed on Tuesdays.
