Edith - Humà
For the first time ever, the Picasso Museum of Barcelona, the Tàpies Foundation and the Gala-Salvador Dalí will loan art works to the CaixaForum for this collective exhibition.
The new exhibition 'Humà, massa humà' which is taken from a translation of German philosopher's Friedrich Nietzsche's book Human, all too human, focuses on Spanish art from the Fifties and Sixties. Nietzsche's book confronted the German romantic ideal and this exhibition takes its influence from the ideal of free thought and features work from artists such as Antonio Saura, Manuel Millares, José Guerrero, Pablo Picasso, Antonio Tàpies and Salvador Dalí. A must for the free thinking philosopher within.
