It has been 70 years since the end of World War II. To commemorate the occasion, the Museu d'Història de Catalunya will exhibit the work of local photographer Francisco Boix. Known for his role in testifying against the Nazi's, and providing photographic evidence of the horrors of the Mauthausen concentration camp in which he was held between 1941 - 1945, this exhibition takes a deeper look into the photographer's life. Works from his childhood, his time in Mauthausen and his life after liberation are all on display, with previously unpublished photographs from the Aragón front during the Spanish Civil War also featuring.
